Baby Octopus

What you need

Baby Octopodes
Olive oil
Frying pan
Lid

How to do it

Cut heads off of octopi. Slice head half way through vertically. Open. Scrape out gross stuff. Wash heads and bodies.

Heat oil in frying pan on hottest setting. Place octopusses in oil (press into frying pan) (bottom down on tentacled part). Cover with lid. Cook for roughly 1 minute 30 seconds. Take lid off, press into frying pan again. Now turn over (this should be about 2 minutes in). Re-cover with lid (you may need to add olive oil, as it probably has all smoked off at this point). Cook for about 1 minute. Uncover, things should look good, maybe flip once for and press into pan for like 5 seconds. Remove from heat and serve. Total frying time should be just under 2 minutes before first flip, 1:30 after.
